You will be part of the Regulatory Review team in the Infrastructure Division, which ensures that regulations in the built environment sector are efficient, responsive to our operating context, and forward-looking. As a member of the team, you will work with public sector agencies, including non-MND agencies, and private sector organisations to lead and facilitate effective review of regulations across the built environment sector.

In addition, as a secondary portfolio, you will also work on selected policies to increase productivity in the construction industry.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Working with agencies to review regulations in the built environment sector to reduce regulatory cost and time
  • Working with agencies to conduct deep dives to identify and address regulatory pain points
  • Working with agencies to re-engineer the regulatory approval process for infrastructure projects
  • Building capabilities to support the adoption of best practices and tools to design, implement and review regulations



You should possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experience/knowledge about regulatory policy development and implementation in the infrastructure building sector.
  • Good writing, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in infrastructural or regulatory issues.
