Assistant Director (Investigation)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of investigators.
  • Investigate non-compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice governing online content.  
  • Recommend appropriate penalty for contraventions and take follow up action.
  • For cases to be prosecuted in court, prepare draft charges, statement of facts, and investigation papers. Assist prosecutor in preparation of case for court proceedings, attend court proceedings, and testify as a prosecution witness as needed.
  • Develop and review penalty frameworks.
  • Review, design, and implement case management system and investigation processes and workflows

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in investigations, regulatory, legal and/or analysis, of which at least 3 years at supervisory/managerial role.
  • Prior experience in investigation, especially as an IO, and proficiency in investigative techniques such as collection of evidence, conducting interviews, recording of statements, and putting up investigation papers.
  • Capability in digital forensics or interest to acquire skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication and writing skills
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Applicants should be Singapore Citizens

 

Position will commensurate with experience.
