As a statutory board in the Ministry of Communications and Information, IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.

 

We are looking for an individual to complement the team to support and grow IMDA’s Open Innovation Platform (OIP). 

 

OIP is a crowd-sourcing platform that bridges real business needs from enterprises, and matches with ICM companies. Together, they build new innovative digital products and solutions that are not commercially available but have the potential to benefit the industry. Supported with a network of innovation ecosystem partners and resources, these scalable and exportable solutions are brought to market for broader opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support outreach activities to identified sectors and industries, as well as tech communities to promote OIP as a channel for innovation
  • Data Management and Analysis: Perform data organisation and analysing data for insights, reporting and recommendations
  • Project management of engaged SMEs/LLEs/MNCs
  • Programme Implementation: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on programme planning and execution
  • Manage and assist the administration, as well as organise/coordinate related activities for the programme
  • Support some parts of marketing activities as required

 

Requirements

  • Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Infocomm Technology, Business, or related field preferred, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the ICM industry, engaging both large and small enterprises
  • Prior experience in enterprise pre-sales/sales, marketing, consulting for technologies in the business sectors, ICM industry preferred
  • Good understanding and appreciation of both sectoral business and digital technologies to assess and work with companies on their challenges would be an advantage.
  • Keen interest to understand a wide range of business challenges and apply digital technologies for the corporates and possess some technical knowledge in emerging technologies and project implementation management will be advantageous
  • Self-motivated and a team player who can also work independently to deliver results
  • Proficient in productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office) and familiar with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin
  • Possess good analytical, project management, and communication skills

 

Position will commensurate with experience.
