As a statutory board in the Ministry of Communications and Information, IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.

As part of the Human Resources team, your role entails attracting and securing the candidate(s) with the best fit, in line with IMDA’s hiring needs. In this role, you will need to acquire a good understanding of IMDA manpower needs, and you will be expected to follow through the end-to-end recruitment process. In addition, you will be required to proactively source for new channels of talent acquisition to meet our emerging and critical hiring goals. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner stakeholders to understand their hiring requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies to attract candidates
  • Source and identify suitable candidates through new channels that have not been previously established. Adapt at engaging specialised, technically-competent or difficult-to-attract candidates
  • Establish a strong talent network and regular engagement with potential candidates building a robust talent pipeline pool. Manage the full recruitment life-cycle (from attraction to selection and offer)
  • Develop and implement overseas talent outreach initiatives



  • Experience in managing the full recruitment spectrum in tech sector
  • Experience identifying and using talent attraction techniques, tools and channels with a good grasp of candidate outreach and engagement tools
  • Independent with strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Strong initiative, results-oriented and a hands-on person
  • Experience with regional/global talent acquisition strategies is an added advantage
