As the Data Architect, you will be responsible for plotting a new enterprise data architecture to transform organization big data environments into a highly valued asset supporting the data engineering and analytics needs of the future, leveraging appropriate data platforms and technologies.


You will also partner closely with peers Architect and the business stakeholders. This role will serve as Big Data Architect in the strategic initiative like Technology Transformation, defining the architecture for plotting the strategy (with the business) to simplify data environments, data integration, and build efficient enterprise class data lake.


• At least 12+ years of hands on experience in handling Data related projects.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in designing and engineering complex, high-quality data technical architectures and detailed designs.
• Minimum 5 years in a Data Architecture role architecting data warehouses and/or data lakes with big data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Have depth and hands-on experience devising Architecture best practices, deliverables and frameworks
• Have a track record of crafting massively scalable, always-on data lake system.
• Able to show a history of incrementally transitioning legacy data systems support modern, evolutionary architectures.
• Understand the consequences of massively concurrent systems, and how to mitigate potential issues.
• Have proven expertise in a wide variety of database technologies, from Oracle, SQLServer and DB2 to NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, Postgres, Cassandra, and/or Elasticsearch, and can explain their varied use cases.
• Have experience using various information management technologies such as SAS, Micro Strategy, Hadoop, Splunk and/or Informatica.
• Have deep knowledge of how to secure complex data systems, build access matrix and mitigate different data risks.
• Created systems spanning a variety of modern architectural paradigms.
• Good to have experience on cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Regulatory experience is a plus.
