You will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art driverless Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling systems. The signalling system supervises and manages railway traffic, and controls the movement of trains, enabling safe and efficient driverless train operations.  You will play a lead role in managing the contractors to supply, design, install, test and commission the signalling system and Platform Screen Doors for Thomson East Coast Line (TEL), Jurong Region Line (JRL) and Cross Island Line (CRL).

You will be involved in ensuring the safety, quality and progress of the contractors' works and to develop a good understanding of the system design, and manage and monitor the project deliverables. You will also be planning and managing the risks and cashflows of the various contracts as well as the issuance of instructions and assessment of variations/payments/ claims. You will collaborate with various parties, such as other project teams, contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and appointed Railway Operators to ensure that the projects are well coordinated.
 
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Strong project management, decision making and leadership skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to coordinate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented
• Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with relevant experience in safety, quality, contract and programme management would be an advantage
• Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works
• Candidates with more years of relevant experience (eg. in Railway signalling and/or railway project management) will be considered for senior positions
