Assistant Manager (Radio Surveillance and Mobile Network Performance Measurement) – Telecom Resource Operations (SGNIC)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting periodic audits on radio spectrum usage and prepare surveillance reports on a regular basis;
  • Ensure proper national spectrum usage and its compliance with relevant ITU Radio Regulations, Regional and Bilateral agreements
  • Assist the Telecom Resource Operations Team to conduct Radio frequency Interference Investigations and provide resolution for wireless networks, including satellite communications, mobile cellular, radar, wifi etc.
  • Assist in managing outsourced vendors to ensure QoS framework operations executed (end-to-end) properly, according to tender requirements
  • Conduct ad-hoc drive/work test and measurement for monitoring of Mobile Network performance including coverage and radio radiation measurement
  • Monitor the implementation of regional and international QoS framework, assist in formulation of KPIs for MNOs’ fulfilment of QoS requirement  

Requirements:

  • Background in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline, with at least 2 years’ experience in the field of Telecommunications 
  • Knowledge of wireless networks including characteristics of radio systems
  • Familiarity with fixed radio monitoring systems, spectrum analysers and radio radiation tools will be an added advantage
  • Experience with mobile cellular networks (e.g. 3G/4G) performance monitoring using performance measurement data, and knowhow on drive test tools are added advantage
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Pro-active, meticulous and responsible self-starter with good conceptual and analytical thinking skills

 

Position will commensurate with experience.
