Manager/Senior Manager (Communications)

Digital technologies are becoming an integral part of society today and digital adoption is no longer a good-to-have, but is key in ensuring public health and safety, and an essential enabler for daily activities.

IMDA is committed to help seniors to embrace infocomm technology to connect better with the community and to take part in opportunities in the digital economy.

As Senior Manager, you will support inter-agency team to develop strategies and programmes for a digital society, in particular, to ensure that senior citizens are equipped with the digital tools, solutions and connectivity, as well as the skills and know-how, to use technology actively, responsibly and confidently.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualise, develop and implement integrated communications and marketing plans to promote the Seniors Go Digital objectives
  • Conceptualise key messaging frameworks and narratives for IMDA’s industry development efforts
  • Strategise and develop effective and consistent communications on key messages to stakeholders and members of the public.
  • Profile IMDA with key tech and media players to international and local trade and mainstream media
  • Propose and execute new ideas to raise awareness, interest and mindshare locally and internationally
  • Proactively conceptualise story angles and ideas for story pitching
  • Develop thought leadership and opinion pieces to elevate the programme
  • Manage communications campaign across various platforms – print, digital, TV, including creating creative content for different target audiences/markets (local and international)
  • Execute procurement efforts in the procuring of services as necessary


  • Background in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism/Marketing or related
  • At least 8-12 years of experience in communications for local and/or overseas markets                                                    
  • Experience in PR, media relations and management                                                                      
  • Good writing and editing skills                                
  • Meticulous, good project and budget management                                                                       
  • Experience managing agencies and vendor

Position will commensurate with experience
