Expanding organisational capabilities…… Engaging and Transforming the Workforce……

As a key member of the HR team, you will assist Director of HR to strategise, plan and develop the workforce capacity and capability to achieve organisation goals, now and for the future, proactively identifying and managing the impact of workforce risks to JTC, collaborating with stakeholders to develop, oversee and monitor solutions to close the gaps.

Responsibilities

As the head of our Talent Development Department, you will:

  • Develop a capable workforce through competency modelling to ensure the right capabilities are being developed for now and future;
  • Develop and implement career development strategies, frameworks and programs for our people to thrive in meaningful careers that support their individual aspirations and growth as they journey through the organisation; balancing JTC’s unique needs, values  and the changing aspirations of our employees;
  •  Develop and execute strategic talent management framework to identify, develop and retain talents for pivotal and leadership roles within the organisation to ensure the long term success of JTC; and
  • Develop and implement career transition strategies in anticipation of future workforce trends and needs, providing opportunities for reskilling and organisational renewal; ensuring staff are appropriately supported in the process.


Requirements

To be effective in your role, you should:

  • Be competent and experienced in the HR areas mentioned to bring the relevant skills and knowledge to the job
  • Possess excellent skills in engaging and managing various stakeholders
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills to manage and develop your team
  • Be digitally savvy to  analyse talent data to generate insights and foresights in supporting decision making
  • Be self-motivated with a positive attitude to lead and navigate through the journey
  • Be a team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
