To work as part of a highly skilled team to provide MI and reporting for collections.  This role involves understanding the business needs and formulating and implementing the appropriate reporting solution, improvement and maintenance of accurate reporting and consolidating information into presentable formats for senior management.  The role covers a range of touch points looking at portfolio, Collections Strategy and Operational/Staff performance. This role will require extensive knowledge and usage of MS SQL on a daily basis, however, the business is moving to a new data warehouse structure that is likely to move us to a similar if not the same SQL solution.

We have developed the aqua product range, and more recently the marbles product range, to enable us to offer near-prime customers the ability to build, or re-build, their credit history with great products that are designed to help our customers become better off.  Over 70% of new own brand customers see their credit rating improve in the first year of holding our cards and we have welcomed over 1.5 million customers since we launched in 2002. This an important role in NewDay, reporting directly to the Senior Manager who is accountable for 40% of Own Brands new customer acquisitions across the aqua and marbles brands. They will be responsible for acquiring new customers with a budget of £3 million: developing, optimising and ultimately executing against the marketing plan via affiliates and aggregators (e.g. MoneySupermarket) for one of our brands for strategic and core partners. In addition to leading for this brand they will manage the core partners’ delivery for the other brand and the day to day relationship management. The role is a combination of management as well as operational execution.  Management is required to formulate credible business plans, manage the strategic partnerships and expand the reach of the channel.  Equally, the role holder will be required to manage the operational execution of the plans and to react to risks and opportunities that present themselves. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for maintaining budgetary and financial control of the marketing activity to ensure target are agreed and met, and internal processes are following in doing so.
