The Meduflex (Float Team) Therapeutic Assistant reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direction of a registered nurse the Therapeutic Assistant is responsible for providing patient care as directed by the multi-disciplinary treatment plan and the daily assignment sheet. The Therapeutic Assistant assists with patient admission on discharge processes, monitors and promotes the safety of the therapeutic environment, assure that patient’s activities of daily living are maintained, and supports the therapeutic program.

Under the direct supervision of the Meducare Ground Transport Shift Leader, the Alternative Transport Technician (ATT) is responsible for certification in BLS for patient assessment, stabilization, preparation for transport, and transport of patient within guidelines and protocols set by MUSC and Meducare. The ATT is responsible for all paperwork required for transport of patient and that the transport vehicle is checked off each shift to ensure all equipment is working and the van is clean and in compliance with MUSC and MEDUCARE’S rules, regulations and guidelines.

The Revenue Integrity Liaison II reports to the Revenue Integrity Manager/Coordinator. Under indirect supervision, the Revenue Integrity Liaison II functions as a resource to revenue-generating clinical areas to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal charging policies and third party payer requirements. This position monitors revenue volumes and timeliness by cost center and compares with baselines to identify trends that may require intervention. The Liaison also works with Revenue Integrity Analysts to identify root cause to billing edits caused by charge capture workflows and collaborate with clinical departments to institute preventative measures. This role may also provide assistance with education and training related to charge capture and documentation to ensure timely and accurate revenue generation.
