The Physical Therapist Resident reports to the Physical Therapist III. The Physical Therapist Resident develops and provides optimal patient care by planning and implementing a physical therapy program to individuals based upon age-specific and population specific needs utilizing a developmental and patient/family directed approach. Under the general supervision of the Physical Therapist III, this role functions as a staff therapist. Patient populations served: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric for a variety of diagnosis to include but not limited to: neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical, pediatric, medically complex, inpatient or outpatient throughout the hospital system. As a resident, the therapist must also participate in and successfully advance through the residency program with MUSC’s College of Health Professions, Division of Physical Therapy. This position lasts for the duration of the residency program: 1 year, starting in January and ending in the same calendar year

The Zone Maintenance Supervisor is primarily responsible for directing, managing and supervising the MUHA Facilities. The incumbent is responsible and accountable for the daily operation of the MUHA Zone Maintenance Shop in the performance of routine and non-routine work. The incumbent shall be thoroughly knowledgeable of the Hospital facilities and Building Systems, as well as all operational policies and procedures. The incumbent shall be fully involved in managing all utility outages for the Hospital.
