The Assistant Director of Internal Audit position has two primary purposes. • To recruit, train, retain, and supervise a staff of highly skilled professional auditors, who have the expertise to help management accomplish the organization's mission. They do this by advising management in the capacity of business consultant, problem solver, asset protector, special task force member, teacher and educator, fraud investigator, and risk manager. • To oversee audits and suggest recommendations to management that will help the organization accomplish its mission.
