Job Summary/Purpose:  Donors Cure Foundation ( is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2013 in Charleston, South Carolina. Our goal is to provide a centralized platform where donors can support specific, qualified research projects led by researchers at US universities and institutions. We are seeking a communications/marketing specialist to promote our mission.  The successful candidate will assist in providing project management for Donors Cure operations. This will be accomplished through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication skills. Work will also include the maintenance of databases for annual reporting. Additionally, he/she will assist in the development and promotion of procedures that ensure the integrity of information and reporting. 

Requirements:           A bachelor's degree with experience as a Program or Administrative Assistant preferable but not required.

Physical Requirements:  Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking and sitting. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required.  Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors.  Frequently lift, lower, push and pull and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs (+/-) unassisted, exert up to 20 lbs of force, lift from 36" to overhead 15 lbs.  Infrequently work in dusty areas and confined/cramped spaces.
