10Coordinates with office personnel for other duties as needed.Essential
15Maintains a range of customized datasets including databases and information resources for use in planning and preparing supporting materials for grant submissions, such as other support documentation and data tables for institutional training and career development proposals. Maintains institutional boilerplate for Facilities & Other Resources.Essential
25Coordinates institutional grant-related activities and develops a broad range of complex, specialized data and information resources critical to maintaining and expanding MUSC’s comprehensive portfolio of research grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements from federal and non-federal sources.Essential
25Provides consultative services to faculty and administration for grants development and administration. Works with Research Interest Groups on strategic initiatives to position MUSC for large, center-wide grants.Essential
25Using standard NIH criteria, collects, refines, and customizes faculty biographical sketches for use in federal applications. Maintains Biosketch database.Essential

Job summary: Reporting to the Director of the Office of Research Development, this position provides services to faculty and MUSC leadership for grants development and administration

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 6: $39,960.00 - $56,947.00 - $73,935.00 (min - mid - max)

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree and three years business, personnel, grant-in-aid or public administration experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred: Experience in writing successful proposals/grants for a wide variety of agencies (e.g., NIH, CDC, private foundations, corporate sponsors); Must have recent pre-award grants management experience; Proficiency in Mac and Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite, and database management; Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills are required; Successful candidates must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
