Job Summary/Purpose: Under general supervision, the Charge Capture and Products Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely entry of patient charges to include posting, updating, reconciling, routine auditing and preparing summary financial and statistical reports. To control expenses, the Charge Capture and Products Coordinator oversees the products to ensure they are under contract, have been approved to use, and completes request process for new products, as well as performing general procurement responsibilities as requested.

Minimum Training and Education: A high school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business related field preferred. A minimum of five years’ experience in the healthcare field is preferred.  Demonstrated knowledge of charge capture, inventory management, cost containment, training, and supply chain preferred.  Strong knowledge of related procedures and supply function and usage preferred.  Knowledge of the principles of business, inventory management, supply chain, and negotiating techniques is preferred.
