Job Duties:
15Participant Screening and Consenting o Screen for potential subjects according to IRB approved protocol on various clinical trials o Assist with consenting of subjects on multiple clinical trialsEssential
15Regulatory o Submit amendments, reportable events, and continuing reviews on a regular basis for the studies you are assigned to o File all IRB approval and submission documents, sponsor correspondence, newsletters, and other pertinent information in regulatory binders and ensure these remain up to dateEssential
35Data Abstraction o All sponsor requested data from medical charts is collected o Inclusion/exclusion criteria for particular studies is verifiedEssential
35Data Entry o Training in each Data Capture System for active clinical trials o All sponsor requested data whether from medical records or patient questionnaires/interviews is entered into the corresponding database o All data queries are answered in a timely fashionEssential


Job summary: Position is responsible for assisting with the coordination of clinical trials in the Division of Cardiology. Will be responsible for adhering to study guidelines, scheduling study visits, abstracting data from medical records and entering it into an electronic database.  Regulatory amendments will be regularly submitted and binders kept up to date.


Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 4: $26,988.00 - $38,460.00 - $49,932.00 (min - mid - max)


FLSA: Hourly


Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A high school diploma and two years relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

Additional Knowledge:  Experience with EPIC preferred and a background in Science is helpful
