10Performs project research and report preparation related to the activities of the Director and faculty researchers as needed. Manages the office of the director and the administrative duties of the DCRI research faculty and staff.Essential
15Assist members of the DCRI faculty with duties related to gathering research and review of documents before submission to the Grants Administration Group.Essential
15Assists the Director with fundraising efforts to include scheduling and organizing of meetings and events to ensure that the DCRI is successful in fundraising efforts. Coordinates research sponsored events.Essential
20Manages the travel plans and makes arrangements for the research faculty of the DCRI to include the director. Responsible for management of the Director’s calendar. Orders supplies for the DCRI to include receiving, and processing bills and invoices for payment.Essential
25Manages the day-to-day operations of the Director of the DCRI’s office. Interprets policies, rules, and procedures. Prepares correspondence, reports, forms, vouchers, work orders, and specialized documents for the Director of the DCRI, as well as, 10 + faculty researchers from drafts, notes, brief instructions, or corrected copy; proofreads materials for accuracy, completeness, compliance with departmental policies, formatting, and correct English usage, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.Essential
5Manages the annual DCRI Research Day. Attends regular meetings to discuss the research topic for the year. Works with the Research group and outside vendors to put together this event. This event requires planning and organization with guest speakers, award recipients, invitees and outside vendors. Produces a 75+ page program.Essential

Job summary: Manages the day to day operations for the Director of the DCRI and center as well, to include;   coordinate offsite events for fundraising and other research sponsored events, create, organize and maintain research records and files for the DCRI. Responsible for maintaining the calendars for the director and center. Accountable for dealing discreetly with sensitive, confidential information. Has thorough knowledge of modern office procedures, practices and equipment.  Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of public and business administration; ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 5: $32,838.00 - $46,799.00 - $60,760.00 (min - mid - max)

FLSA: Hourly

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A high school diploma and four years relevant experience in business management, public administration or Administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and two years experience in business management, public administration or Administrative services.
