Job summary: The department of Pediatrics is seeking a Staff Scientist II to work on mechanisms of neurodegeneration and therapeutic strategies as it relates to Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, Hydrocephalus, and Traumatic Brain injury.


Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 7: $48,622.00 - $69,289.00 - $89,956.00 (min - mid - max)


FLSA: Salaried


Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A PhD, MD or equivalent with two years post-doctorate experience plus evidence of scholarly activity as demonstrated by at least five first author publications. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license. Computer literacy. Ability to work rotating shifts as required. Ability to work overtime as required. Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required.
