Job Summary/Purpose: The Manager of Pre Service and Prior Authorization, reporting to the Organizational Access Director for the Revenue Cycle, is responsible for insurance verification and precertification services for patients presenting for healthcare within the MUSC enterprise.

Minimum Training and Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a minimum of five years progressively responsible related work experience preferably in a healthcare environment required; Master's degree preferred.  Certified Healthcare Access Manager preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills, along with strong leadership and problem solving skills.
