Job Duties:
20Administrative Tasks – Answer calls to the clinic and provide appropriate direction. Greet, register, and check in patients as needed. Coordinates health care needs with other members of the health care team and non-medical providers as directed. Participation in staff meetings to ensure effective internal communications. Performs all other duties as assigned.Essential
20Educate patients regarding their health screening/disease process as directed. Potentially precept students during their clinical yearEssential
20Phlebotomy, TB placements, review immunization records and administer vaccines as needed, UDS collection and follow up on pending labs, tests, and diagnostic workupsEssential
20Responds to blood borne pathogen and other exposures as needed and provide necessary follow ups.Essential
20Triage patients, provide initial work up and collaborate with the provider for all appointments to include pre-employment history and physicals and workers compensation visits.Essential


Job Summary: Provide direct nursing care, patient and student education and counseling, coordination of services for Employee Health Services.

Assesses the nursing needs of patients and their families.
Develops, coordinates and implements nursing care plans with patients, families and health care providers.
Maintains patient records and prepares reports.
Promotes wellness through activities directed toward prevention and reduction of risk factors, early detection of disease and control of identified health problems.
Performs medication administration and monitoring.
Participates in quality assurance activities.
Plans, implements and evaluates nursing services in a specialized area.
Assists in process improvement initiatives and the development of standards and procedures to improve the care provided in the clinic. Collaborates with members of the health care team.
Performs outreach activities to provide services.

Pay scale/Salary Range: UNIV-Band 4: $26,988.00 - $38,460.00 - $49,932.00 (min - mid - max)


FLSA: Hourly


Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and one year related experience as an LPN. Requires licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing. Some positions require certification in Basic Life Support.
