Job Summary/Purpose: The Human Resources Specialist performs operational/transactional functions to include answering the general HR questions about benefits, policies, and procedures; tracking LOA and day to day management of claims; and ensuring completion of license and certification tracking, updates and alerts.  This role completes employment verifications; review records requests and tracks annual employee health compliance-vaccines.   This position processes and tracks PTO donations and tuition reimbursements.  The Human Resources Specialist conducts file audits.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Dimploma/GED with two (2) years of professional experience, aPHR or SHRM certification preferred with High School diploma or GED.
