Scheduled Work Hours/Shift:  Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary/Purpose: MUSC Health is developing a new Mental Health and Wellness program to transform the model of care for patients with anxiety and depression. The Program Coordinator will be an essential member of the team and the development of the program.

Minimum Training and Education: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Prior experience as a research assistant is preferred
  • Interest in mental health and wellness
  • Evidence of intelligence, good interpersonal skill and warmth
  • Self-motivating, goal directed, emotionally resilient, organized, excellent at multitasking, and achievement-oriented
  • Experience working with database entry, management, and storage systems, statistical packages, Qualtrix or related data capture platform
  • Tasks will include creating presentations, document development, knowledge of web-based and social media outreach and outlets
  • *Minimum commitment of 2 years expected

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:  The program support coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of all aspects of information gathering and management related to quality assurance, patient satisfaction, health outcomes, and clinician training. Other in-house projects related to our program goals of providing exceptional service to individuals struggling with anxiety or depression will also be included. 

Physical Requirements:  Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking and sitting. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required.  Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors.  Frequently lift, lower, push and pull and/or carry objects weighing 25 lbs (+/-) unassisted, exert up to 25 lbs of force, lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs.  Infrequently work in dusty areas and confined/cramped spaces.
