Job Summary/Purpose

The Payroll Systems Analyst in MUHA Payroll Services reports to the Payroll Manager and performs complex payroll processing and reporting duties specific to MUHA’s Payroll and Time and Attendance Systems.  This position is responsible for the integrity of the automated Payroll and Time and Attendance systems and works closely with the other Payroll care team members for accurate and timely payroll processing, reporting and employee payments; serves as the subject matter expert (SME) and liaison with IS, the Kronos Scheduling team, HR, system users and vendors for IT-related payroll processing and reporting matters; and supports all other payroll-related IT functions.

Minimum Training and Education: 

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or a related field and four (4) years work experience supporting an automated time and attendance application, an automated payroll system and the requisite reporting for a large and highly complex organization, preferably a large healthcare system.  Strong analytic, communication and teamwork skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment; a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Access, Word and Adobe Acrobat; Powerpoint, Cognos and report writing software is a plus.
