Job Summary/Purpose:  Leads all governmental reimbursement and cost reporting functions for the Medical University Hospital Authority hospital and clinics (MUSC Health) to include all markets (Charleston, Florence, Chester and Lancaster). Directs various functions related to accounting for MUHA revenue cycle transactions, including monthly entries for contractual allowances. Serves as an internal consultant to MUHA leadership for reimbursement and Medicare/Medicaid regulatory matters.

Minimum Training and Education:   Bachelor's degree in related field, Master's degree preferred and/or CPA preferred. Minimum of seven years of work experience in a progressive management role with overall healthcare billing experience preferably at a director level. Must have direct experience with reimbursement preferably in a faculty practice plan setting. Previous experience with regulatory cost reporting in an academic medical center environment preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:  CPA preferred.
