Job Summary: Advance the laboratory's research goals through experimentation and contribution in intellectual development of new research projects
Perform research projects to understand the mechanisms of peripheral T-cell activation and tolerance in response to alloantigen and tumor antigen in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation or solid tumor
Supervise the lab’s operation and train junior lab personnel
Write grants, protocols, progress reports and manuscripts

 

Job Duties: 

 

Preferred Experience & Additional Skills: 

 

PhD, MD, or both in biomedical field, preferred in Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or Molecular Biology

 

At least 3 years of post-doctoral experiment with excellent publication records  

 

 

 

Additional Knowledge, Skill and Ability

 

 

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

 

Ability in initiating, conducting, evaluating and reporting of research studies is essential

 

 

 

Experience with tissue culture, flow cytometry, procedures on mice and standard molecular biologic methodologies is critical

 

Experience working in bone marrow transplantation field is desirable

 

 

 

Current or previous Fellowship or Career Development Award highly preferred
