Job Duties:
10%• Coordinate with appropriate MUSC infrastructure architect or designee on use of cloud-based assets supporting MUSC mobile applications. • Assist PIs and app owners with information on app development resource options (internal, affiliated, or contractual).Essential
10%• Develop a relationship with all IS teams that support a vendor provided mobile app (i.e. MyChart). • Maintain and publish an inventory of all MUSC developed and vendor supplied mobile apps authorized by MUSC.Essential
10%• Work with MUSC application owners and project managers to ensure a successful mobile app development project and support planEssential
15%• Work with MUSC domain leaders to develop app development & deployment guidelines (i.e. Architecture, Information Security, Branding, Risk, Data Management, User Support and Infrastructure). Provide guidance on conforming to guidelines during app design, development and support. • Develop a working relationship with all members of the IS Architecture team as well as assigned representatives from MUSC marketing/branding, procurement, innovation and research.Essential
25%• Initially, assist in the “re-deployment” of existing MUSC mobile applications to MUSC development & 3rd party licenses and infrastructure assets. • Managing the publishing / deployment of MUSC developed mobile apps to the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores (and internal MUSC deployment if appropriate).Essential
25%• Manage MUSC mobile development licenses (Apple & Google) & any 3rd party licenses and services used by MUSC mobile apps. • Confirm MUSC mobile apps adhere to MUSC guidelines prior to publishing and prior to re-publishing. • Notify application owner or support lead of all new releases or updates to mobile operating systems & 3rd party library or service. Ensure timeline and process is understood for any required app modifications. Verify compliance prior to re-publishing.Essential
5%• Act as the point of contact for app development managers for all guideline and deployment questions.Essential

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A high school diploma and three years of experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
