Under very limited supervision, the Senior IT Project Manager provides project management and communications oversight for Administrators, Directors, Managers, the PMO, and other Project Managers across the MUSC enterprise. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and controlling project management activities, changes, and reporting across small to large IT projects for existing and new application implementations within the academic, research, and healthcare information system portfolios. This position is expected to serve as a project manager for complex projects and/or as a program manager for integrated programs that impact the overall enterprise. The Sr. IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring/controlling project and program activities, communicating, managing stakeholder engagement, and reporting across existing and new application implementations within MUSC's academic, research, and healthcare information system portfolios. This role ensures the accurate recording and timely resolution of project issues, change requests, and risks, and for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation including charters, budgets, timelines, and other project documents. This position is expected to comply with, support, provide feedback on, and participate in developing enterprise-wide project management methodologies, tools, applications, and processes as defined by the OCIO PMO. This role serves as a project manager for enterprise projects involving technology and as a mentor to project managers across the MUSC enterprise.

The Employee Relations Specialist reports to the Employee Relations Manager in the Medical Center Office of Human Resources. Under limited supervision, the Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for the implementation and administration of the Medical University Hospital Authority’s (MUHA) policies and procedures and for managing all activities relating to daily labor/employee relations issues. The Employee Relations Specialist is often the first point of contact for employees and managers to provide advice and support on all employee relations issues. This role helps to ensure a fair and consistent approach to the organization’s policies and procedures, thus promoting a positive employee relations culture within the Medical Center, while minimizing risk. The Employee Relations Specialist serves as a MUHA representative in all aspects of managing grievances, mediations, regulatory agency complaints, and legal claims. This position functions as a change agent in assisting with the formulation and implementation of business strategies and service effectiveness; serves as a consultant for organizational change within MUHA through strategic human resources leadership, guidance, and consultation with leaders and managers; and works to develop and transfer human resource skills to managers and provides guidance to leaders and managers related to organizational and employee effectiveness, performance management, and regulatory compliance. Work situations are varied and require a strong customer service oriented individual, supervisory skills, negotiation, diplomacy, problem solving and resolution, data analysis, internal consulting skills, the use of discretions and good judgement, and decision making.

The System Analyst I position assists in maintaining the enterprise telecommunications system. They also support all other associated systems such as; voice mail, call accounting, call management, 911, and the call recording system. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot complex problems, and in depth programming duties. The position acts as a liaison between MUSC and cellular providers to ensure orders are met, proper plans are selected, and customer services remains at a high level.
