The RN - School-Based Telepresenter/Wellness Coordinator reports to the Lead School-Based Telepresenter/Wellness Coordinator. Will also support schools in the Colleton County School District with telehealth efforts by telepresenting, training, and troubleshooting technical concern. Under indirect supervision, the Telepresenter utilizes telemedicine equipment (exam camera, otoscope, stethoscope, and video conference) to present the patient to providers at MUSC or in the local community. This position provides administrative support to the School-Based Telehealth program in assigned location. The coordinator is also responsible for the implementation of MUSC Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness (BCCW) School-Based Wellness Initiative in the Colleton County School District. The coordinator will provide ongoing support to participating schools as they implement school wellness policies and strategies. In collaboration with the MUSC BCCW team, the coordinator will plan, prepare, and conduct both in-person and virtual trainings/presentations on the implementation of evidence-based wellness strategies. This position serves as a care coordinator, which includes directing families to resources such as Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, home energy assistance, and other community assistance programs.

The Telehealth Clinical Success Coordinator reports to the Telehealth Nurse Manager of Development and Implementation. Under general supervision, the Telehealth Clinical Success Coordinator supports service operations and associated providers. This role works closely with the Medical Directors of MUSC telehealth services, Acute Services Nurse Manager, and Director of Operations to develop, facilitate, and ensure success of the programs and providers. The Telehealth Clinical Success Coordinator is responsible for supporting technology specific optimization, high yield encounters for provider and patient, and collaboration with Clinical Outreach Coordinators responsible for supporting sites receiving telehealth services. This position provides clinical support to the service development team and all outreach stakeholders.

This position ensures prompt interpretation and notification of changes in heart rhythm to the appropriate staff, in accordance with established standards and practices. This role reviews patient information to determine normal heath rhythm pattern, current pattern, and prior variances with consideration of related age specific factors. The Monitor Technician performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and to achieve optimal outcomes.
