This includes changing trash cans every few hours, walking the areas at least 2 times a day picking up trash and debris found around the area. Cleaning the Ashley Rutledge Garage parking garage. This involves mopping elevators, sweeping stairwells, wiping down hand railings, blowing out the entrance and exits- all weekly. Daily- cleaning out and replacing trash cans, walking all floors and picking up trash and debris as needed. Mandatory attendance when there is an Emergency at MUSC- hurricanes, ice storms etc.

UNIV - Postdoctoral Scholar - Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Charleston, SC
Postdoctoral fellow to work full-time on understanding the functions of protein post-translational modifications in human cancers. The research will particularly focus on the regulatory mechanisms and physiological functions of E3 ubiquitin ligases and mTOR/Akt kinase cascade in genomic instability and cancer progression. The goal of these studies is to explore druggable targets for cancer therapy. Studies will use a range of complementary methods including biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, functional cell-based assays and mouse genetic models. The candidate should be highly motivated with a recent Ph.D. degree and a solid background and skills in molecular cell biology and biochemistry. Experience in signaling transduction and mouse genetics is desirable but not necessary.
