With limited supervision, the Clinical Staff Leader (CSL) reports to the Nurse Manager. For each shift worked, the CSL functions as the department’s designated nurse leader providing operational oversight and staff supervision. The CSL works in coordination with nursing leadership. The position ensures the achievement of optimal evidence-based patient care and department goals through efficient daily operations and compliance with established rules, regulations, and guidelines. The CSL promotes Shared Governance structure and functions. The CSL assists with providing leadership presence and staff support by providing coverage for a minimum 1 holiday per year and 2 weekend shifts per six (6) weeks of unit staffing schedule, or the equivalent of 3 weekend shifts every 2 schedules.

The Accountant I performs professional accounting duties supporting MUHA's monthly and fiscal year-end financial reporting and the annual external audit, general ledger accounting specific to preparing and posting journal entries, ongoing account reviews, analyses and reconciliations; provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation in the Hospital Fiscal Services and Payroll departments; supports director and managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. A bachelor's degree in a business-related field and two (2) years work experience in a business related area such as accounting, business, audit or finance. Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Outlook software; Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat software is a plus. Preferred: A bachelor's degree in accounting with hospital/healthcare based work experience; MBA, MHA, CHFP or CPA designation a plus.
