The position ensures the achievement of optimal evidence-based patient care and department goals through efficient daily operations and compliance with established rules, regulations, and guidelines. The CSL promotes Shared Governance structure and functions. The CSL assists with providing leadership presence and staff support by providing coverage for a minimum 1 holiday per year and 2 weekend shifts per six (6) weeks of unit staffing schedule, or the equivalent of 3 weekend shifts every 2 schedules.
