Under indirect supervision, the Epic Clinical Applications Analyst works collaboratively with users of MUSCs Clinical Information Systems (CIS), with all departments in the Information Solutions division, and all other departments or groups, campus-wide, as necessary, in problem-solving issues related to CIS, with primary focus on the integrated Epic Enterprise system comprising the electronic health record (EHR). This role coordinates aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to the CIS. This position provides CIS support through participation in a 7x24-hour on-call rotation schedule.

Postdoctoral fellow to work full-time on projects focused on the study of enzymes involved in the post-translational modification and regulation of cellular target proteins. Broadly, the goal of this research is to understand the molecular mechanisms by which the ubiquitin pathway functions to maintain homeostasis in humans and how dysregulation of enzymes in these pathways leads to disease states. These issues will be addressed primarily using X-ray crystallography complemented with biochemical and biophysical techniques. Ideal candidates will have skills in standard molecular biology techniques, recombinant protein expression, and protein purification using FPLC. Experience in protein crystallization, X-ray data collection, and structure determination are not required but are a plus.
