As a member of the pharmacy management team, this manager is responsible for assuring that the Inpatient Pharmacy Program is planned, organized and delivered in a manner that meets the needs of MUSC patients, physicians, nurses and staff. The manager champions inter-functional collaboration and communication across work areas and departments to support the specialty pharmacy practice. With the department director and other managers, he/she implements the strategic initiatives. The manager has control over all of the human, financial and informational resources allotted to his/her pharmacy cost centers.
