The successful candidate must be highly organized, and will be responsible for assisting in the conduct of animal research studies with a focus on Neuroendovascular procedures. Perform surgery independently on animal models to adhere to desired research protocols. Includes the induction, maintenance, and recovery anesthesia on many different types of animals. Must have the ability to surgically create animal models for vascular or radiography intervention. The RN – Quality Clinical Analyst I reports to the Assistant Manager, Quality Outcomes and Regulatory Performance. Under general supervision, the RN – Quality Clinical Analyst I collects, submits, and analyzes accurate, reliable, complete, and timely data to an assigned regulatory agency, registry, or database for Ambulatory, Outpatient, or Inpatient populations. Data abstraction may be concurrent or retrospective, and may include pre-hospital, hospital, and post-hospital data elements. This is generally accomplished through a vendor or registry platform or workstation. The RN – Quality Clinical Analyst I works in collaboration with internal care team members and/or departments, and external agencies (where needed for a particular registry/population) to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects as may be identified.

As auditor in charge, perform compliance, operational, information technology and financial audits, primarily in a healthcare setting; prepare unique audit work programs; ensure completion of the audit work program; determine the accuracy and validity of agency financial and other records; determine compliance with policies, regulations, and laws; prepare written audit reports in accordance with Internal Auditing standards, departmental policy, generally accepted auditing standards and/or accounting principles. This role coordinates aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to the CIS. This position provides CIS support through participation in a 7x24-hour on-call rotation schedule.
