UNIV – Open Rank Temporary – Department of Medicine: Hospitalist Division Charleston, SC-Main Campus
This is a clinical, full time faculty position with a dual professional focus of clinical and non-clinical duties. Primary clinical responsibilities will consist of providing non-teaching hospitalist services on our private (non-resident) hospitalist service, expected to work 182 clinical 12 hour shifts per year. Overall cFTE and related number of weeks/weekends of clinical work will be offset proportionally by any funded effort for teaching, medical direction, or other leadership roles or grants that cover your salary. Non-clinical duties will consist of involvement in the improvement of the systems of care surrounding those patients admitted at Medical University Hospital and Ashley River Tower. Projects for involvement will be mutually decided by you and the director of Hospital Medicine.
