Hollings Cancer Center currently has 50 infusion chairs and an active Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic. The current oncology team includes numerous clinical pharmacists specializing in oncology as well as 7 clinical specialists across various hematology/oncology specialties (including this position). There are currently 6 clinical specialists dedicated to outpatient clinics and 1 specialist dedicated to inpatient care.

The Patient Access Services Representative reports to the Patient Access Services Supervisor. Under general supervision, the Patient Access Services Representative provides high level customer service while facilitating accurate and timely completion of registration verifying and preparing all patient accounts for inpatient and outpatient billing to maximize payment for Hospital and Clinic services. This position reviews and verifies all payment methods available (insurance, self-pay, agency) and patient/insurance information. This role works with patients to set up payment arrangements and to arrange/apply for assistance programs. The Patient Access Services Representative assists in collecting copayments and deductibles, and solves basic billing inquiries.

Will participate in a busy hematology laboratory service, which includes sections for body fluids analysis, coagulation and bone marrow and lymph node diagnostic services. The faculty member should also be proficient in the use of flow cytometry, cytogenetic, and molecular techniques employed in the clinical work-up of cases. The preferred candidate will have experience in fostering collaborative relationships with clinicians and researchers as well as serving as a resource to technologists at the bench. This role collaborates with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and the CIBMTR global scientific community to advance hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) and cellular therapy research. This position interprets and extracts a variety of clinical data used in creating reports and tables for the advancement of HCT research. This data must meet strict reporting standards and deadlines.

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at MUSC is seeking a board/eligible/certified radiologist with expertise in cardiothoracic imaging for a full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. MUSC Radiology provides an excellent working environment with a total of 38 residents and 15 fellowships. The Thoracic section has a close working relationship and continuous collaboration with outstanding pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and subspecialists in other fields of medicine. The Cardiac Imaging section has also an exceptional relationship with the departments of cardiology and vascular surgery, and performs cardiac MRIs and cardiac CTAs. Interdisciplinary conferences encompass a broad spectrum of comprehensive lung programs, including interstitial lung disease, COPD, lung cancer, lung cancer screening, and general pulmonary pathology. The cardiac imagers also participate in multidisciplinary conferences including multimodality-based case discussions. The department offers state-of-the-art imaging equipment in CT, MR and PET/CT modalities, allowing for cutting-edge research in these imaging procedures.
