Under the guidance of the CCSG Program Manager, this individual will work closely to oversee the study and site management of Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) being conducted at Hollings Cancer Center. We are looking for a highly motivated Research Specialist for our laboratory on high dimensional analysis of immune responses in cancer. The laboratory works on clinical specimen and animal models using the new and vividly evolving field of high parameter conventional flow cytometry and single cell mass cytometry (CyTOF). Your job will be to manage the research laboratory – be responsible for ordering, grants and protocol management, be the labs interface with vendors and other departments at MUSC. As skills develop, you will have your own project. The work encompasses cell biology, histology, microbiology and molecular biology, computer science, bioinformatics and machine-assisted analysis/learning. This work also includes work with animals.
