This role must be a good communicator and professional and works closely with the CTO clinical operation and regulatory units and other University offices such as the Office of Clinical Research (OCR), Grants Accounting, Investigator departments, and hospital billing and compliance. This person is responsible for post-award research grant activities (both federal and non-federal) for trials managed within the HCC CTO and oversee the invoicing and distribution of payments along with the review of study patient bills to verify proper billing. Additionally, as a senior position, this person is required to demonstrate significant knowledge in all research financial areas and is able to cover managerial responsibilities as needed and demonstrate leadership skills for the provision of mentorship to other peer employees. This role can help lead departmental trainings for the CTO and finance training to new investigators.
