Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Oversee all TEC ICT resources and high-level systems administration including strategy, architecture, operations and processes, applications and processes, security and continuity, vendor management, program and performance management, standards and policies, support and resources.
- Develop and drive the implementation of the TEC Cyber security strategy.
- Oversee the implementation and continuous organisational adherence to the TEC cyber security strategy and ICT polices including response plans, escalation pathways, establishing appropriate standards and controls, managing security technologies, and oversight of regular compliance assessments.
- Undertake major ICT procurement, contract management and overarching project management for election system development to ensure legislative, policy and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain effective and high-quality relationships between TEC, other Electoral Commissions and the Department of Justice in delivering effective ICT services and information management solutions.
- Responsible for the articulation and ongoing analysis of cyber threats as part of the TEC’s risk management strategy and functions.
- Collaborate with other jurisdictions and expert organisations for the development of election technologies and management of cyber security threats and risks in the electoral environment.
- Ensure the TEC complies with all lawful requirements if a breach of electoral information has occurred.
- Ensure the delivery of cyber security training for all staff

Desirable Requirements
- Relevant tertiary/professional qualifications and/or significant experience in a fast paced, complex ICT support environment.
- A proven record of information and communications technology management in a complex organisation.
