Alcohol and Other Drug/Mental Health Counselor Counseling Center Rochester
The Alcohol and Other Drug/Mental Health Counselor provides clinical, consultative and in-service training to the College community; provides crisis management; and is a liaison to student services and educational departments. The Counselor completes comprehensive mental health and/or chemical use assessments with students who present for services at the Counseling Center and makes appropriate treatment recommendations. The Counselor provides psycho-education to members of the campus community re: alcohol, drug and other mental health issues. Also serves on campus and community committees as appropriate. Counselor is supervised by the Associate Director of the Counseling Center, however is expected to act independently and to take initiatives in performing essential duties.

College Prevention Coordinator (CPC) Student Health Center Brockport
The College Prevention Coordinator (CPC) will be responsible for the general day to day activities and organization of the campus community coalition and its work on the College Environmental Prevention objectives as established by the grant through NY State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). The coordinator will be responsible for assessment, capacity building, planning, implementing, and evaluating activities associated with the identified college prevention priorities. The coordinator will guide the coalition to develop and implement strategies that will lead to long-term involvement of community institutions, organizations, and individuals in college underage drinking and drug abuse prevention. Position is grant funded for 4 years with the possibility of permanent funding and long-term renewal.
