Job Responsibilities

• Execute various precious metals trading orders independently for institutional clients or interbank counterparties. 
• Monitor global financial markets and real-time core movements in precious metals prices. Provide timely market updates and analytical support to senior management and internal trading desks.
• Participate in the launch of new products, including compiling operational guidelines, reviewing internal regulations, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for trading systems.
• Strictly adhere to local ordinances, regulations/codes of conduct from various regulatory bodies, bank policies, relevant risk management guidelines, and internal control systems. Identify, mitigate, and control potential or existing operational risks, and report promptly to superiors and relevant departments.
• Execute work requirements mandated by the Head Office and accomplish other tasks assigned by line managers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related quantitative disciplines are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in precious metals trading. Must be well-versed in London spot market trading, US futures market trading, or domestic SGE International and Main Board trading operations and structures. 
• Deep understanding of the trading rules and compliance requirements of SGE, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), COMEX, and LBMA.
• Proven and strong profitable trading record (P&L).
• Excellent market sense, strong analytical judgment, and agile crisis-handling/problem-solving capabilities.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under high pressure and deliver project milestones on schedule.
