| The University of Delaware’s Nursing Program trains hundreds of students each week as they pursue their Bachelor’s in Nursing degrees through skills labs and scenario based education. As part of their education, large amounts of supplies are required for high-quality education and practice. The Simulation Center is committed to providing our students with the best learning experiences meanwhile, reducing costs and maintaining realism. To meet this goal, CSIIDEE has developed a one-of-a-kind “Repurposing” program to take used supplies in the labs and restore them to an “as-new” state for our students, while reducing large amounts of unnecessary waste created by medical supplies. |
