As a College Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our academic operations, providing essential administrative support that directly impacts student success and faculty excellence. You'll coordinate diverse programs and daily activities while working closely with undergraduate and graduate students, distinguished faculty, and university leadership including Department Chairs, Program Directors, and Deans.

This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 (working 34 hours a week) with an approximate salary range of $27,700-$33,250 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage office - provide administrative support or coordinate work of office at the direction of leadership. Coordinate departmental and or program events and lectures venue, travel, catering. Maintain and order office supplies, books, and tend to office equipment needs
• Complete paperwork for all matters relating to undergraduate and graduate students
• Refer students to faculty and appropriate support offices when necessary, or other units of the university as appropriate
• Hire, train, assign tasks, track timesheet hours for work study students
• Input fall, spring, and summer course offerings/line schedules based on department(s) and or program(s) needs and policy
• Catalog updates and Course Inventory Management (CIM) updates for department(s) and or program(s)
• Assist with faculty tenure, promotion, and review processes, gathering all necessary paperwork and data
• Assist with faculty searches advertisements, hiring paperwork, interview agenda, travel, reservations
• Assist with hiring paperwork for new instructional employees and student workers - adjuncts, visiting professors, teaching assistants, research personnel, and work study students
• Maintain and track department(s) and or program(s) financial accounts
• Assist department(s) and or program(s) faculty with research/grant accounts and financial needs
• Submit payroll forms and corresponding paperwork, tax forms for all employees, including wage employees
• Other duties as assigned by College of Arts and Sciences
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED; Associates or Vocational/Technical Degree in English, Languages, International Studies or a related field preferred
• One to three years of related work experience
• Bookkeeping experience desirable
• Competency with computers and spreadsheets
• Efficiency organizing information and electronic files
• Office management skills
