Position Summary:

The Disability Services department is seeking proctors for both the Wilf (Upper Manhattan) and Beren (Midtown) campuses. Proctors earn $15/hour and work part-time during exam periods.

Position Responsibilities: 
  • Pre-exam - Make sure students have no unauthorized materials, equipment etc. at their desks
  • Exam distribution- distribute exact number of exams and any supporting materials as required
  • During exam -monitor room for any student-to-student communication. Report any incidents of violations of integrity with supporting evidence, to the Director of Disability Services
  • Exam collection -supervise an orderly collection of all exam papers and sign-out sheets
Experience & Education Background:
  • High School Degree required
  • College Degree (BA/BS) preferred
  • Educational experience is an asset
  • Must be able to survey the exam room and proctor exams in different locations
