Job Summary:

Help testing staff with filing, sharpening pencils, getting supplies ready for PSB test. Help students lock belongings. Ask which tests the students are doing and group them according to type. Help students log in to the TABE or CASAS web site. Put students on computers as assigned by testing staff. Help students print score reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Computer skills with Microsoft office especially word. Know how to print from an application. Logging into testing sites as directed. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Ability to follow directions.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Student worker should be familiar with the various college departments such as advising, admissions, registration, student life, and financial aid. Student should be familiar with the various tests the testing center administers.

Essential Duties:

1. Help students lock belongings.
2. Give the students a key and collect the photo id.
3. Assist putting students on TABE and CASAS tests.
4. Ask which tests the students are taking.
5. Help students print from the testing center.
6. Filing.

Other Duties:

1. Help set up the computers for the PSB test and put supplies at each computer.
2. Check that students returned test and scratch paper to staff.

Physical Demands:

Sedentary (up to 10 lbs occasionally, sitting most of the time)

Close visual acuity (e.g. computer, assembly)
