Job Summary:

Coordinate a specialized program, including services to students enrolled in ICAPS pathways. Identify eligible students to participate and coordinate with the appropriate departments to ensure their retention and successful completion of the program. Additionally coordinate with director to develop and implement ECC new apprenticeship structure. Assist with creating the processes and procedures to operationalize the new program. Coordinate meetings to discuss curriculum plans, reporting requirements and progress to date. Meet with Institutional Research Department to review data and evaluation needs. Build collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrity of the ICAPS and new apprenticeship programs while creating and implementing strategies for marketing, recruitment, and retention. Create opportunities to connect students with career pathways, experiential learning and/or apprenticeships.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Bachelor’s degree required in a field related to business, education, organizational development or related field.
2. At least two years of experience working with adult students and/or unemployed clients at the post-secondary level.
3. Strong interpersonal skills to be applied to a variety of individuals with different education, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
7. Two years’ experience delivering and evaluating training.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Master’s degree in business, education, organizational development or related field.
2. Bilingual Spanish/English speaking ability.
3. Experience with crisis intervention.
4. Experience working with and sustaining grants in a community college.

Essential Duties:

1. Manage ICAPS and apprenticeship course and program development in collaboration with the director, CTE deans and faculty. Coordinate with instructional coordinators and deans to develop each new ICAPS pathways. Foster employer partner relationships to sustain ICAPS and expand apprenticeship programming.

2.Maintain student enrollment data and performance indicators required for reporting. Provide data summaries/audits of ICAPS and apprenticeship pathways and report progress regularly to stakeholders.

3. Liaise between apprenticeship employers and student cohorts providing input to discussion on student progress and any barriers that need to be addressed regarding progress. Provide input to deans and faculty in planning and executing new ICAPS pathways and apprenticeship programming.

4. Prepare and conduct internal and external presentations, including marketing coordination to promote programming for ICAPS and new apprenticeships.
