Work Schedule:

Flexible (2) days, 8:00 am - 2:30 pm, and (2) nights, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Rate of Pay:

$15.12/ starting hourly rate of pay

Job Summary:

An employee in this classification is responsible for work of moderate difficulty entering, tabulating and analyzing post-testing data. Work is distinguished by the ability to coordinate workload in order to meet established deadlines. Direct supervision is received from the assigned department manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Completion of an Associate’s degree and three years of customer service experience which included adherence to established deadlines, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  2. Good knowledge of College testing procedures and processes.
  3. Good knowledge general office practices.
  4. Working skill in operating a personal computer, software and peripheral equipment.
  5. Woking skill in organizing work to meet established deadlines.
  6. Working skill in written and verbal communication.
  7. Working skill in maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
  8. Some skill in analyzing and interpreting data related to work processes.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

Essential Duties:

  1. Provides support to student testing/post-testing processes including, but not limited to, determining eligibility, ensuring testing deadlines are met and tracking student progess.
  2. Maintains statistics related to testing such as student progress and number of students tested.
  3. Determines validity of test scores prior to the start of the semester.
  4. Coordinates post-testing processes with instructors, students, evening testing staff, specialized programs and others as needed.
  5. Communicates effectively with instructors, co-workers, students and others seeking information regarding the post-testing process.
  6. Organizes work process in order to meet established deadlines.
  7. Completes data entry of test results into the applicable systems and ensures accuracy of post-testing reports.
  8. Reviews and analyzes post-testing data and makes recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends, as needed, by the department
