Job Summary:

An employee in this classification performs work of moderate difficulty by performing database management, data analytics and input. Work is distinguished by the ability to independently collect, compile and analyze various sets of data in order to make relevant interpretations. General supervision is received from the Executive Director.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Associates degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in data input, database management and analysis.
3. Considerable skill in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
4. Working skill in utilizing CRM software for tracking constituents, demographic storage and retrieval.
5. Working skill in the use of data visualization software.
6. Some knowledge of statistical software.
7. Considerable skill in organizing work to meet established deadlines
8. Working skill in presenting information to diverse audiences with varying levels of statistical understanding.
9. Considerable skill in oral and written communication.                                                                  10. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Math, Computer Programming
2. Work experience in data analysis in higher education or non-profit
3. Working skill in Tableau or Power BI
4. Some knowledge of SPSS or SAS
5. Working skill in the use of Raiser’s Edge and/or SalesForce
6. Good knowledge of syntax programming and general technical problem solving.

Essential Duties:

1. Perform data evaluation and analysis projects for Institutional Advancement.
2. Data visualization and reporting
3. Survey development and administration
4. Participation in College Committees/Activities
5. Original Research and Development

Other Duties:

1. Perform other job-related duties as assigned which pertain to the job description.
2. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.
