This new position manages inclusive media services for the Accessible Technologies group within TLOS and helps promote a culture of Universal Design for Learning across the university. The Specialist’s key responsibilities include coordinating processes and fulfilling client requests for closed captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions of both live events and pre-recorded media; managing vendor partnerships; assessing the usage and impact of inclusive media services; and making recommendations to university leadership for improving these services. The Specialist will directly support the expansion of Universal Design for Learning initiatives and projects under the UDL Director’s guidance. |
