To maintain and promote the health of the student body at Virginia Tech by performing skills as a registered nurse under the supervision of physician and registered nurse leadership.
The successful candidate must be a Licensed Registered Nurse and have or be able to obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia; previous nursing experience; excellent communication skills; ability to relate well with both patients and fellow workers; ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and make independent clinical judgments.
Certified in College Health Nursing; computer experience with electronic medical records; experience in a college health environment.
Commensurate with experience.
M-f 8-5; occasional Saturdays 9-12.
