We're seeking applications for experienced Safety Coordinators to join our team for an upcoming bridge upgrade project in Bunbury, regional WA. This project, running for approximately 12 months, will involve the construction of a new bridge over a major waterway, improving connectivity and ensuring long-term infrastructure resilience.

The scope of work includes bridge foundation construction, structural improvements, and road realignments to enhance access and safety. This is a great opportunity to be part of a technically challenging project that will make a lasting impact on the local community.

About the role:

• Mentor site personnel for improved workplace health and safety.
• Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining systems, plans, procedures, and strategies.
• Conduct site inspections, provide feedback, and offer recommendations to project personnel.
• Assess risks and opportunities to enhance Safety Management.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position in the Civil/Construction or relevant industry.
• Certificate IV qualification in OHS and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training essential.
• Demonstrate a passionate and energetic approach to safety, embodying a positive, can-do attitude and fostering a collaborative, team-first approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
