We are gearing up for an exceptional future, and we want you to be a part of it! We are currently seeking a Submissions Coordinator to join our corporate team at our North Sydney office. This is an opportunity to contribute to a successful and sustainable future, working on proposals for civil infrastructure projects.

Seymour Whyte has successfully executed a diversification strategy, significantly expanding our focus to include water and defence-related infrastructure projects. Backed by VINCI, one of the world’s largest construction companies, we are looking to strengthen our team to meet the growing demand.

About the Role:

As a Submissions Coordinator, you will report to our National Submissions Manager in Brisbane, and be guided by an exceptional team of Submissions Managers in our Sydney office.

You will be a crucial part of a talented team of nine submissions professionals, driving success by working on diverse bids across various sectors for a wide range of clients throughout Australia.

Your primary responsibilities will include preparing, collating, and lodging compelling, work-winning submissions and prestigious award entries. This role is both exciting and challenging, perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the development of proposals, ensuring they are well-organised, concise, and effectively communicate key messages.

You will work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and build compelling documents.

Crafting outlines, storyboards, and drafts will be a key part of your duties, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency with our brand guidelines.

You will manage schedules and deadlines, coordinate reviews and approvals, and create visually appealing graphics.

Additionally, you will conduct research and analysis to stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs, continuously improving our processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of experience preparing, coordinating, and writing complex documents in construction or a similar field.
  • Proven ability to develop successful submission strategies and apply lessons for continual improvement.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in Adobe InDesign; Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in multidisciplinary environments and a high attention to detail.

We have a range of additional benefits available for our employees:

  • Health & Wellbeing – discounted health insurance, seasonal vaccinations, wellness discounts, fertility benefit and employee assistance program (EAP).
  • Time for life / Work life balance – birthday leave, purchased leave program, paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements.
  • Financial wellbeing – competitive remuneration, annual performance bonuses, salary continuance insurance and employee share program.
  • Career development – training, mentoring programs, and leadership development program.

Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
