The Futures and Planning section is the coordinating unit in CAAS for organisational-wide and whole-of-government strategic issues, driving CAAS’ medium to long-term strategic planning and corporate work plans, and integrating strategic foresight on emerging trends, risks and opportunities to help shape Singapore’s aviation hub.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and resourceful self-starter to join our team.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

  • Researching and analysing emerging issues and trends with impact on CAAS / Singapore’s aviation sector, to uncover strategic surprises and develop impactful insights and thinkpieces, to support strategic planning and policy-making
  • Generating and implementing ideas to strengthen CAAS’ foresight capability, challenge the status quo, and working with relevant stakeholders to drive strategy and organisational change
  • Reviewing and developing enterprise frameworks and tools for corporate planning, monitoring and reporting, to improve organisational performance management and effective implementation of CAAS’s work plans over the short to medium term
  • Driving cross-functional and futures projects on a wide range of issues affecting the Singapore aviation sector
  • Engaging and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs, develop workplans and communicate corporate issues
  • Planning and organising corporate planning events such as retreats and staff conference
  • Facilitating workshops and retreats

 

Requirements

  • Qualification in any discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in related fields
  • Prior experience in corporate / strategic planning, enterprise risk management, scenario planning, research and application of foresight methodologies are preferred
  • Inquisitive, creative, self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and concisely communicate ideas
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confident in engaging with diverse and senior stakeholders
