About the role

We are looking for a passionate graduate Lawyer to join a collaborative and high performing team based in our Brisbane CBD office. Reporting to a Principal Lawyer in the Dust Diseases team, you will be constantly challenged by using your technical knowledge and experience in personal injuries litigation to strive for fair outcomes for our clients. With your strong client focus and passion for helping people you will foster and manage relationships with referrers and other external parties while also looking to grow our incredible practice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to manage conflicting business needs and deadlines will enable you to thrive in this role.

 

Our Asbestos, Silica and Occupational Disease Team are market leaders in Dust Diseases litigation and pride themselves on ensuring that their clients not only receive the best compensation result but provide exceptional services during our client’s compensation journey.

 

The experience we are looking for

  • Strong experience as a paralegal, with previous experience in Dust Diseases being highly regarded
  • Keen interest to specialise in this area of law
  • Strong legal, commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong client and relationship building skills
  • Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people
  • Excellent organisation skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the wider team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
