About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Box Office and Administration Officer to join our Cultural Venues team. The Box Office and Administration Officer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative, box office and marketing services at Council’s cultural venues. You will provide exceptional customer service to theatre audiences, artists, venue hirers and event participants at the Knox Community Arts Centre.
You will report directly to the Team Leader, Cultural Venues and work collaboratively with the Arts and Cultural Services Team.
This is a full-time permanent role based at the Knox Community Arts Centre in Bayswater. This role is required to work onsite to ensure the operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 5 classified role. Remuneration will be $78,036 to $90,793 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Experience in box office operations and administration in arts venue settings
- Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to develop new audiences and audience engagement
- Ability to develop and implement strategies for expanding venue hire
- Hands on experience in event setup, pack up and providing venue support services.
