Mt St Patrick College, Murwillumbah, is a co-educational Catholic College offering six years of secondary education leading to the Higher School Certificate. The College has a current enrolment of 745 students and employs 57 lay teaching staff and 18 lay non-teaching staff.

The College was founded by the Presentations Sisters in 1926. We are particularly proud of our long history and the major role the Presentation sisters have played in the College for ninety years. Co3 Leader of Learning Pastoral Care

The person appointed will have a permanent teaching position in the school with a negotiable teaching load.

 Co2 point “Leaders of” positions are offered a contract within a set 3-year cycle as co-ordinator. The current 3 year cycle is 2022 - 2024

All co-ordinator positions are advertised every 3 years within the school and incumbents are eligible for reappointment. 

The Role Description for each Leadership Position is contained in the adjacent schedule along with the Work Teach and Lead Accreditation Document.

Term of Appointment:

Appointment to the above Leadership (Co3) positions will be for a period of three (3) years from the beginning of the 2025 school year.

Remuneration and Time Allocation:

This position will be remunerated at Co3 allowance (NSW and ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023) with a negotiable time allocation.

General:

To be eligible to apply for a (Co3) position a teacher would normally be a fulltime permanent teacher classified Step 2 Proficient on the Teachers Standards Classification.

Each teacher in a leadership position (Co3) will participate in an ongoing performance review in accordance with the Diocesan Policy & Procedures for Performance Review of Coordinators.

Teacher Accreditation:

Teachers who are appointed to a leadership position, whether new to the position or applying to be re-appointed for the next cycle, should have begun, or will begin to make a commitment to complete the requirements of Accreditation To Work Teach and Lead, Category C, (Category E for Leaders of Catechesis and School Evangelisation) during this next triennium cycle.
