IT School Support Officer, Richmond

Located at Lismore, NSW

Full-time, permanent position working school terms only.

Commencing on 23 June 2025.

Position Purpose:

To support the delivery of IT services to DLCS schools.

This role supports the underlying Mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Lismore by delivering services that contribute to enabling students to achieve the fullness of life.

Work Requirements:

  • A current/valid Australian Driver’s Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of the appointment.
  • Requirement to travel between locations.
  • Will be required to attend work for four days during the school holiday period per annum. This is to attend all staff meetings and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification at certificate level or above; and/or experience providing technical support to users in an organisational setting.
  • ITIL 4 Certification.

Key Capabilities:

  • Proven experience in IT service delivery.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of IT service management tools (e.g., Freshservice, Helpdesk).

Plus, the following generic criteria:

  • Knowledge of WHS and equity principles in the workplace.
  • Respect and uphold the ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of the Employer.
