Xavier Catholic College is a ministry of the Catholic Parish of St Francis Xavier Ballina, a College in the Diocese of Lismore, and is a Companion School of Jesuit Education Australia (JEA).

TEACHER - Technological & Applied Studies (TAS)
Temporary, part-time position (0.3 FTE, every Monday and every second Friday),12 month role commencing January 2026

Applicants must hold:
- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
- Have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
- Provide evidence of qualifications in a specialised faculty - TAS
- Able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
- The ability to teach Years 7 & 8 Technology Mandatory (Materials and Textiles Technologies) and Years 8-12 Food Technology.
- Qualifications to teach Years 11 & 12 Hospitality, Food and Beverage is an advantage.
- Applicants should have the ability to communicate effectively in teams. The ability to use initiative to foresee and address workplace needs.
